This months pattern came free with my magazine subscription and the soft jersey fabric was given to me by a friend so all in all a very valid month!!

Cutting out the pattern pieces with a cup of tea while Olivia naps.

Once all of the pieces were cut out, I sewed the shoulder seams together and pressed them open, I then sewed the facing to the yoke around the neckline.

In order to help the facing stay inside the romper I under stitched it to the seam allowance and pressed it.

I gathered the front and back sections onto the yoke and pinned them making sure the gathers were even.

I then pressed the seam allowance upwards towards the yoke.

I pinned the facing to encase the seam allowance, and then sync stitched it from the right side.

I double turned the armhole edges to create a neat hem.

I hemmed the edges of the ruffle pieces, then using a long machine stitch gathered them down the centre. I then evenly pinned the gathers and stitched them in place on both shoulders.

After pinning the patch pockets on I topstitched them onto the romper.

I sewed three poppers into the crotch for easy nappy changing.

Et voila!! A cute, loose, comfy romper suit.
